Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

These terms govern your use of the Stride app and website. By using Stride, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app — no hard feelings.

Who can use Stride

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stride. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. The app requires an iPhone running iOS 17 or later.

Your account

You sign in with your Apple ID. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account. Don't share your credentials. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us at hey@stridesteps.app.

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data.

What you can't do

The service

We provide Stride "as is." We don't guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that your leaderboard position will be accurate at all times. Step data accuracy depends on your device and Apple Health — we display what we receive.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we believe are being used to abuse the service.

Intellectual property

Stride and its content — including the name, design, copy, and code — are owned by Stride Labs, Inc. Don't use them without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stride Labs, Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (which, if you're using the free version, is zero).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
